Built the concept and early business case for an Advanced Air Mobility Familiarisation Trainer (AFT) — a VR-based product to support stakeholder workshops, early training, and operational understanding of AAM.

What I did
  • Structured the stakeholder landscape (cities, ANSPs, OEMs, operators, universities, training centres).
  • Defined use cases and packaged the training offer into sellable modules (workshops, familiarisation, public demos).
  • Built an Excel model linking adoption scenarios → training demand → revenue ranges (multi-year).
Outputs / KPIs (from available info)
  • Scenario model covering conservative → optimistic adoption views over a multi-year horizon.
  • Revenue range outputs and decision slides used for internal product discussions.

Analysed the business jet/turboprop training market to identify high-potential platforms for simulator and training solutions.

What I did
  • Compiled fleet and operator data across segments (light → ultra-long range, turboprops).
  • Mapped training competition (device providers, exclusivity, regional coverage).
  • Built a prioritisation logic (fleet size, regional clusters, competition intensity, training availability).
KPIs (from your dataset)
  • Structured data table covering 25+ aircraft types across jet segments + turboprops.
  • Included global fleet totals and regional estimates (Europe / Middle East) where available.

Mapped European maintenance training organisations (Part-147) including approvals, aircraft focus and (where available) training scale.

What I did
  • Collected organisations across priority countries (France, UK, Italy, Spain, Nordics, Eastern Europe, etc.).
  • Captured approvals/categories (CAT A, B1, B2), fixed vs rotary wing, training means, websites.
  • Consolidated multiple sources (registers, PDFs, industry lists) into one usable market sheet.
KPIs
  • Consolidated list of 70+ organisations across sources in your material.

Benchmarked helicopter hoist and SAR training providers across regions to understand today’s training approach and where simulation can reduce live-flight dependency.

What I analysed
  • Providers, approvals/certification, duration, and mix (classroom / sim / live flight).
  • Regional coverage: Europe, Nordics, USA, Middle East.
  • Identified potential partnership targets and training gaps for simulation concepts.

Contributed to AMIUS, a collaborative initiative exploring integrated U-Space and the integration of drone/VTOL UAM services into multimodal traffic simulation in Bavaria.

My work
  • Simulated integration of VTOL and drone-based UAM services using Aimsun Next.
  • Modelled vertiport networks, air corridors, and intermodal hubs as scenario inputs.
  • Analysed KPIs: delay time, harmonic speed, traffic flow, and RGap% across scenarios.
Outcome
  • Scenario comparison insights supporting infrastructure planning and policy recommendations.
